DPS, Ranchi is a co-educational school, affiliated by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

The school follows the 10+2 pattern in both science and commerce stream.

The school has separate buildings for the primary and middle school and the other for the Senior School.

DPS, Ranchi also maintains a well-equipped modern lab for physics, chemistry, biology and computer science.

Delhi Public School, Ranchi offers courses in commerce and science. It follows the board syllabus in preparing the children for the Secondary and Senior School Certificate examinations.

For all junior classes the school conducts two semester examinations.

The school also follows the pattern of conducting Monday tests. Assessment is done on the basis of the performance in Monday test and Semester Exams.
